Associate Director Social Media

Lowe Campbell Ewald has a tremendous Social Media opportunity available.  The Associate Director, Social Media will develop and lead the implementation of social marketing strategy by partnering with our various clients to drive integration of social marketing initiatives among other digital and traditional marketing efforts. Research, maintain currency, and build relationships with key and emerging social platforms, to ensure our clients remain at the leading edge in the social space.  Regularly analyze and report on the performance of social marketing efforts.

Specifically, you will:

Manage social marketing team activities:
  • Work closely with overall media group and with social marketing team members to plan, execute and optimize social marketing campaigns
  • Maintain presence on relevant social platforms, ensuring the latest information and content is in place
  • Mentor social marketing team members and contribute to their career development
  • Develop and implement social marketing strategy
  • Consistently monitor and optimize content, communication and technology mix by working closely with Director, Analytics
  • Research and build pilots on emerging platforms
  • Ensure compliance standards are met in all social marketing activities
  • Manage relationship with key platforms, including Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest, Instagram and Google+
  • Work with Media team to create and manage paid efforts on social platforms
  • Coordinate with internal teams, and other agency partners to plan campaigns
  • Partner with other client marketing groups to drive social components of their campaigns
  • Promote and drive the adoption of social media features across client owned platforms
  • Broker partnerships with social platforms in support of marketing campaigns
  • Promulgate trends in Social Media across the agency and the marketing organizations of our clients
Qualifications:
To qualify, you must have at least 10 years of experience in digital marketing, at least 3 years focused on social media and:
  • Ability to work independently
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to interface easily with all levels of management
  • Strong understanding of digital experiences and platforms
  • Strong understanding of blogging (blogs, search, tools) and social networks
  • Strong understanding of the workings of websites and social network sites
  • Proficient in Word, Excel and PowerPoint
  • Attention to detail
  • Ability to multi-task changing priorities
  • Strong organizational skills
