St. Clair Shores / Harrison Township / Mt. Clemens (lakefront living)

The Nautical Mile in St. Clair Shores

20 percent of St. Clair Shores is water. Fitting, since it's home to the Nautical Mile -- Metro Detroit's version of a beachside boardwalk. And while the Shores definitely retain that small-town vibe, the seafood joints, boat clubs and bay bars are legendary for hosting some of Metro Detroit's wildest summer bashes.

Bath City has evolved in recent years into "The Clem," the entertainment hub of Macomb County. With boating opportunities galore, historic architecture, and an art park under development downtown, Mt. Clemens is poised to epitomize a Michigan "Cool City."

Harrison Township is a suburban lakefront community highlighted by the Metro Beach Metropark located on the townships Lake St. Clair shoreline.
